Please make sure, if you need a PCR test for entry, that it is not older than 48 hours.

This proof is required in order to check into a hotel in Vienna. This rule only applies to Vienna and does not relate to all of Austria. 

• PCR tests are valid for 48 hours from the time of taking the sample.
• Antigen tests carried out by an authorized body are valid for 24 hours from the time of taking the sample.
• Antigen self tests are no longer valid as entrance tests in Vienna!

PCR Tests must be renewed every 48 hours, antigen tests must be renewed every 24 hours in order to visit the convention center, hotels and restaurants.
